Joseph W. MacAllister

Attorney MacAllister (Joe) served in the US Navy after completing studies at the US Naval Academy in 1976. Thereafter he attended University of NH Law School (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center). Joe began his law practice in 1985 with the firm of Richards Gawryl and MacAllister before establishing the firm of Gawryl & MacAllister (later Gawryl MacAllister & O'Connor) in 1995.

For 30 years Joe has practiced primarily in the areas of Family Law, Personal Injury, and Criminal Law. As part of his practice he has focused on mediation and has served for many years as a neutral for the Superior Court (and Circuit Court). Joe also serves as a private mediator in divorce/custody matters. Joe served as a guardian-ad-litem in divorce cases for over 20 years. He has also served as a member and chairman of his town's school board.

Joe's focus is understanding and meeting the goals of his clients. His discipline and time management skills allow him to do this in a cost effective manner.
