Joe MacAllister is retired and not taking new clients. He used to focus on Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Criminal/DUI Law, and Mediation.

​

Attorney MacAllister (Joe) served in the US Navy after completing studies at the US Naval Academy in 1976. Thereafter he attended the University of NH Law School (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center). Joe began his law practice in 1985 with the firm of Richards Gawryl and MacAllister before establishing the firm of Gawryl & MacAllister (later Gawryl MacAllister & O'Connor) in 1995.

For 30 years Joe has practiced primarily in the areas of Family Law, Personal Injury, and Criminal Law. As part of his practice, he has focused on mediation and has served for many years as a neutral for the Superior Court (and Circuit Court). Joe also serves as a private mediator in divorce/custody matters.
